The Moxi GO II’s new Auto-Gating feature will analyze results in an accurate, repeatable way to provide the most consistent results — presented in a simplified new Data Summary page. The new Batch Mode feature allows you to run multiple tests of the same sample type. It will auto-find live and dead cell populations, eliminating user-to-user variability.

Cell Analysis Cassettes

At the core of all of Orflo’s instrument platforms are precision micro-optic microelectronic, microfluidic disposable flow cells. The cassettes eliminate the need for cleaning, maintenance, and optical system alignment and are ideal for safely containing your sample.

Type S+ Cassettes

Type S+ cassettes are designed for cells and particles ranging from 3 “micro-m to 26 um in diameter. Run two Cell Analysis tests with each cassette. 4 parameter outputs per test; 2 colors, cell count, and cell volume.

1. Moxi Cyte Viability (PI)

Propidium Iodide (PI) is a fluorescent dye that is impermeable to healthy cells. When cells die, their membranes become permeable. PI enters the cell, binds to the DNA, and increases fluorescence 50x +. This strong signal for measuring cell viability has made PI the gold-standard approach used in flow cell viability assessment.

2. Orflo Moxi Cyte Nucleated Counts (AO) / Viability (PI) Reagent

The MXA069 reagent is designed for the identification and enumeration of all nucleated cells (Acridine Orange, membrane permeable) in a sample, while simultaneously assessing viability (Propidium Iodide, cell impermeant).

3. Orflo Early Stage Apoptosis Kit (FITC Annexin V / PI)

The MXA701 Early Stage Apoptosis kit is designed to identify early-stage apoptosis in cells by monitoring the phosphatidylserine exposure on the exterior plasma membrane, a hallmark of apoptosis. PI is added to further discriminate the necrotic cells.

1. System Check Beads, Orange/Red Channel

Utilize the System Check Beads, Orange/Red Channel to periodically verify the proper function of the Moxi GO II PMT2 (561nm/LP, orange/red) channel and the Moxi V. You must flow the System Check Bead protocol to ensure accurate results.

2. System Check Beads, Green Channel

Utilize the System Check Beads, Green Channel to periodically verify the proper function of the PMT1 (525/45nm, green) channel on the Moxi GO II. You must flow the Moxi GO II System Check Bead protocol to ensure accurate results
